OMG! Why is this happening?

Well....all my videos are playing fine except for this one...its really weird. For some damn reason, its really jumpy. Like, unwatchable. The audio and video is perfect, except for the fact that the screen stutters like CRAZY. Its a 'video clip' file type. Properties:

width 960 pixels
height 544 pixels

duration is 43:08
bit rate 448kbps

frame rate 23 frames/second
data rate 275 kbps
video sample size 12 bit
video compression XVID

Try VLC player it plays most files ok, or try virtual dub to rebuild it.

No no...its a show recorded in HDTV. it kinda sucks because we always record it and wanna watch it but for some damn reason it didnt work. Grr....

err, turns out it was the codec pack i had installed. do you guys reccomend any codec packs?

Probably a bad codec. Try installing the official XVID codec and Divx codec

just install xvid and ffdshow, you shouldent need anything else
