Took the old SetiQueue off line to upload the wu's without interferences.

It is only uploading at a pace of about 500 per hour????with all the backlog that there is it will still take around 8 hours to upload all the results 🙁

So with this being too long of a period of time to be offline I have started a new Queue

This will do three things

1??allow me to continue to upload the 4000 results I still have on the old Queue, unabated????.this Queue has been moved to another machine for this purpose

2??..with the release of a new version of SetiQueue, I can start a fresh new copy and hopefully it will work faster as it won?t have to wade through the big back log of completed wu?s and all the expired users and clients

3??.this will negate my suspect temporary solution to the wu shortage

again ???.no completed results will be lost???the Queue has simply been moved to another machine and will upload all completed work????. when done, it will be trashed

OMG!!! you scared the sh|t out of me, when i saw the title of this post, i thought that you like deleted all of the completed WU's or something...

I had been going to OKs Q, but with all the stoppages and bandwidth problems, I had switched both the home & work Qs to go directly to Berkeley, which worked better for me. 🙂

But glad you figured out a way to get those WUs to flush! 😀

I think we need to all pitch in and send OK some toilet paper, he's going to need it after that dump! :Q

BTW, kudos on a good fix for that last time your Queue broke down, OK. If it was going to break again, it would have been while stressed out these last few weeks. 🙂
