I believe him. I helped out a friends father once. Nothing major to a geek and he insisted on giving me a gold watch. He was loaded the bad part is the guilt but my buddy and his father wouldnt take it back no matter what.

Sell the 6800GT and buy a PCI-e motherboard,

Install the 7800GTX. If you cant play at 1600x or 1900x, crank up the aa/af to the max to use some of the cards potential.

After that, you BETTER go to her door and thank her.
