yeah, I was on the phone with my pops this morning and he was telling me that the rain has already surpassed Floyd levels, which as you might know, remains the biggest natural disaster in the state.

though the flooding isn't as bad yet, apparently?

And we'll all float on OK. And we'll all float on OK.
And we'll all float on OK. And we'll all float on.
Alright already, we'll all float on.
No don't you worry. We'll all float on.
Alright, already. We'll all float on.
Alright, don't worry. We'll all float on.

And we'll all float on.
Alright already, we'll all float on.
Alright, don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy.
We'll all float on.

No, not that bad but it's heading there. For God's sake, it's been raining for four days straight without a let-up.

Yeah it's been raining here in Kingston, ON., pretty bad lately. Sucks, too, because we're out working in the bush all day for the past week.

Oh well. ;)

Yeah, sucks when it suddenly occurs to you that you're living in a low spot. D:

We had some flash flooding here, a few years ago, that occurred in the middle of the night. Creeks and drainage ditches suddenly decided they had all they could take, and they weren't going to take any more......but Mother Nature wasn't through raining yet!
A couple co-workers had 5' deep water running through their houses. One guy, who wears a prosthetic leg (lost his lower left leg in a motorcycle accident), said he and his wife woke up to water coming through the house, and ended up getting on top of their refrigerator, in order to keep out of the water!!

We were supposed to get about 5-6" here in NYC today.
We probably got less than 1/2" before people even headed out of their apartments this morning - and it drizzled off and on.

Weathermen last night were crying wolf about how devasted New York would be after getting tons of rain...lol

I am looking out my window right now and I can see some patches of sky. So much for the rain equivalent of 9/11.
Fuck Weathermen.

My brother lives about 25 miles to the west of Jacksonville, they closed the roads around him so he has no path out should it get really bad , luckily his home is on high land.
