Then he quotes his 3 previous transactions by listing the names of several members, but stating they got lost in the heat transition.
So right now his record under heat is blank, and he wants me to pay first.

he really may have been trying to scam you then. i mean, 58 good refs where it counts... versus a basically non-related rating system. AND, by his own standard, he wouldn't ship first to HIMSELF. 3 supposed references "lost" in the transition... bah, if someone said that to him, he woulda laughed in their face.

dude, sorry to hear... i'd give him a bad heatware referrence if i were you, though he'd just start over, since he's got no good ones to lose. i gave you 10 in the ratings system, for the couple of tenths of a point that it's worth

What a f**kin numb-nuts. 4.78 is pretty good for OT, and the only reason people ever get a bad vote rating anyway is from pissing other people off in various discussions, so you may piss a bunch of people off and get a 2/10 rating because they disagree with you but this in no way represents your quality as a trader.

I wanted to give his name out, but I thought about it from his view... a newb trying to get started.
giving out his name here would ruin his non-existing rep (a bad one now, if any). same wtih dropping him a negative, etc.
but then again, with his unwillingness to ship first, he's not getting anywhere anytime soon.

i'm running more checks on this guy, because his AT handle doesn't match the one he gave me under heat.
the name he gave me as heat doesn't even exist.
then i check heat under his AT handle and the db comes up with a name similar to his AT handle.
locaation, email address and name match the ones in his profile... but 0 evals.
now why would he do that?

I agree that not wanting to ship first because of the user rating in your profile is dumb. Now being upset about a trader not wanting to ship first is just as dumb! He owns whatever it is hes selling. If he doesnt want to ship first then dont deal with him.

If i were dealing with you and you asked to ship first i would based on your heatware but you and all the other members of AT couldnt make me if i didnt want to. Simple as that....

I totally respect his decision not to ship first. it's his item. i understand that.
what i'm crazed over is his reason for not wanting to ship first.

no, i'm pretty sure it wasn't that guy w/the Ti500. I met up w/ALLABOUTHW, and he sold me the Ti500 and his KVM switch. He even threw in an entire complete set of cables for the kvm swtich too! 🙂
