The newborn is sorta cute, I guess, but it still looks like something I would prefer stayed on the outside of my house, heh

I agree that the vast majority of exotic pet ownerships are damaging to the pet, but I think that blanket statement you make is taking it a little too far...not all wild animals have the same temperment, and not all owners keep them chained up out back.

Still, unless you know exactly what you're getting into, and can provide facilities equal to or better than a zoo, you shouldn't own an exotic pet. And I'd say that 90%+ of owners don't follow these criteria!

The Fennecs are cute, but I'm more of a cat person really (that's not me, of course, just a pic off the web)
