So I looked up their customer service phone number right away and called them up.  I finally get someone on the phone after like 3 minutes on hold (what kind of service is that!?).  This is the convo:
Her: Hi, how can I help you?
me: umm..hi.  Umm..i just placed an order on the website, and i realized after i got the confirmation page that i had put the wrong expiration date for me credit card.
Her: can i have your sales order number?
Me: sure.  (gave the number to her)
her: ok...and your name?
Me: (said my name)
Her: ok..i'll go ahead and cancel the order and submit the correct information.  Everything will work out fine.
Me: OMG!  Thank you!  That's it!?  I don't have to write a letter or fax something or give you my ssn + driver's license number + address + etc???  WOW!  
Her: ok...um thanks for choosing Newegg.  goodbye.
Me: Thank you!  BYE!!!
SO as you can see, it was almost a crisis.  but now i will get my wireless network card on Tuesday like i had hoped.
