I've been watching this show since the beginning and it's at it's lowest point it has ever been. Heck, I even liked it when everybody else said it was crap. There has always been at least one cast member who could sort of redeem it and the only one close to that now is Rachel Dresch and apparently Tina Fey must not like her as she doesn't get a lot of airtime these days.

Tina Fey doesn't decide who gets on the air, especially since she's been on maternity leave. Everyone submits sketches, Lorne Michaels decides what gets on the air.

and btw:
I love the US but hate Bush. They're not mutually exclusive, as you implied.

Conan was pretty horrible in SNL, he did some damn good writing on the Simpsons though. His show is not funny at all except for "Walker Texas Ranger" which is pretty sad. The worst is his parady of headlines, its so retarded and not funny. The best skit on SNL was Celebrity Jeopardy when Fallen was on it, that was insanely funny. When he left, even that was boring. I used to look forward to SNL a couple of years ago, not its just gawd aweful.

Will Farrell was hillarious on snl. I rarely saw him do poorly in a sketch. I thought there were some funny sketches during the 2000 Election, but since then it is quite unbearable.

The writing now is what sucks eggs - I don't think the cast is the reason the show sucks, it's definitely the terrible writing!
