Got both my AM2 2800+ (1.6GHz) to run Prime at around 2.9GHz, but using some crazy voltage. This was on an Abit mATX board at around 360MHz HTT thereabouts.

hehe - yeah plentyScan have the AM2 2800+ around £28 - so £5 more for people who want to have DDR2 and a chance to upgrade to something alot better down the line.
