I watched about 20 minutes of an episode in series 1. I figured it was best seen from the beginning... so I have been promising that I was gonna buy them... but they are not reasonably enough priced yet.

that's what Netflix is for. 😉

my wife and i have watched every season (during the off season of course) via DVD.

it's more interesting watching it on DVD watching like 2 or 3 dvd's in a night than watching it week after week i think. in some ways anyway.
 
I heard that there is a terrorist attack in the first episode. It kills everyone on the east coast but Jack is in Vegas looking for "Mr X". He goes back east to investigate and his plane is shot down over Colorado. He makes some show shoes out of sticks and bushes and a sled out of the bark of a tree. He uses the sled to haul out the only other survivor of the crash. It is an unconscious stewerdress with HIV. He doesn't know it and has sex with her. Now he is HIV positive. She wakes up while her is doing her and he kills her to keep her from telling on him.
He cooks her up and eats her with some farber beans and some chianti.

they announced 2 more seasons of 24. the "spoilers" for next season were kind of cool though. i sure wonder what they're going to do to jack.

I heard that in season 5, jack starts off the season as a recovering alcholic, then while wandering the deserts of New mexico he stumbles upon AREA 51. He infiltrates the base and discovers that there are live Aliens plotting to take over the world. He wins there trust and befriends them. He foils there plots, but somehow the aliens have brought back Nina Myers, Habib Marwan, Ramon Salazar and Dennis Hopper back to life. They all start wreaking havoc on the world. Jack has little hope and decides to undergo an expieramental treatment and splice his DNA with that of a spider. He becomes some sort of super Man spider and is able to stop them all within the last 1 hour.

Sorry to ruin it for you guys
