No, he didn't. He had the height, just not the distance. The geometry of the ramp was wrong. It would have been OK had the ramp been about 10 feet closer to the building. With the ramp where it was, it should have been less steep, higher, and not curved up at the end. Then, with more speed, the guy could have made it.

As the ramp was made, it provided maximum height in too short of a distance, and dramatically slowed his forward momentum sacrificing distance for altitude. More speen without changing the sahpe of the ramp would have provided at least 2 times the height as opposed to distance.

Obviously when he tested his ramp, he didn't consider distance, only height.

The sad thing is; when I was younger I used to do stupid sh*t like that and I have the scars to prove it.

Bummer. 🙁 It almost looked like he fell into a bunch of bushes, but I suppose even if he did, he was going to have some injuries.

are you sure? i saw this clip in a motorcycle video, and they showed the guy afterwards, and he was fine, just broke his bike.
