Game has been out 7 weeks and apparently the user experience is horrific;

Players report extensive use of exploits, broken economy:

Hugely depends on who you ask... like most other games. I mean it's pretty clear who's mostly enjoying it for what it is and who's simply out to bash it because they've apparently got nothing better to do. The hate surrounding the game is certainly something else; you have to wonder just how much people are trying to make it bad.

So far the worst thing I've encountered, aside from graphical bugs, is a band of obnoxious trolling players that were yelling racial slurs and on a "ethnic cleansing" campaign. Truly a disgusting display of toxic player behavior. Despite that, I've been enjoying the game.

It sucks but lots of PC games have their fair share of cheaters and exploiters. I would agree that Bethesda is responsible for making sure that content purchased from 3rd party sites cannot be used on their servers, but that's not something that can be fixed overnight; they probably won't be able to have them completely shut down or anything. These types of sites pop up all the time and isn't something that is just now becoming a problem for PC gamers...

Unfortunately, these types of issues are a notable setback of the PC version of the game running on Bethesda servers and not on a more established distribution platform; I do absolutely think that Bethesda/Zenimax should be upping their efforts in getting the app out of beta--and maybe they are I have no idea. However, the app is the least of my concern as I continue to play the game.

It's not *that* hard.

Yeah ok i know it's not THAT easy but this is one of the primary points of that video; if a publisher like Beth devides to step into the online-services-market, they are expected to be able to cope with the same problems WoW had - this is reflected by the brand loyalty given to F76 and actually expected by Beth.

If you say "we'll make a mmo game and people will buy it because it's Fallout", the people that buy it expect it to be good. To work. You can't on one hand say "buy this game, it's Fallout, you know it's good" and one the other "well we're new at this, you can't expect it to be good".
