In the world of IT knowledge NTFS permissions can hardly be called complicated IMHO. They take like what 5 minutes or less to explain?

hehe it was meant to be a bit funny.

Some say simple, some say cheap. Some say complicated some say robust (feature rich would have been more approprite).

NTFS permissions really are pretty simple though. Nothing beyond say what Novell was using back in the 4.x days.
