OH NOES what will all the poor Nextel employees do!!??

Long story short--sister went through 7 years of hell at Sprint with nearly nothing to show for it save some scars (she avoided the pink slip 12 times because she was a hardworker and good manager but they never gave her any bonus and only promoted her once.)

In only a few months at Nextel, its like being in heaven (she travels with good budget, stays in real business-class hotels, and is generally respected and taken care of.)

Now her old nemesis is in talks to merge with Nextel!!! Teh noes!!! 🙁

Yup, heard that today, crazy stuff. Apparenlty Sprint is fiending for the walkie-talkie feature.
 
That doesn't make much sense to me. Nextel is heavily based on business people and Sprint caters to those with bad credit. 😕
