OMG!! New asian flick!! Check out trailer!! The returner

Personally I didn't like The Returner though a lot of people did. I thought it was very cheesey w/ bad special effects. And for some reason English speaking actors in Asian films are absolutely atrocious... I think they pick like the cheapest ones.

Anyways I remember it having a limited release in the US already.
 
Judging by the trailer, it looks like the transfomers part will only be a small part as the majority of the film will be based on the past. Anyways, looks interesting.

Very little of the movie takes place in the future. In fact, only like the first 5 minutes or something and a bit of the end. You're calso orrect in the transformer things having a very small part of the movie. LIke a few scenes or so...

This movie is similar to MIB, though it takes itself more seriously. That trailer made it look like some epic battle with crazy special effects which it most definitely is not.
 
yea i didnt think it was that new, i just thought the transformers thingswere cool. See though i liked IZO, casshen and versus. A lot of you couldnt sit through them.

If by that you mean "cheesy low budget."

Transformers = 1% of movie
Terminator Future = 1%
Timecop/Seven Days = 15%
Second-rate guns 'n' martial arts = 83%

It was OK, but the first Black Mask was a better HK comic book scifi movie.
 
The movie is pretty good, I liked it a lot. 🙂 You don't see a lot of that transformer stuff in the movie though so don't get your hopes high.
 
I'm going to get it off ebay in the uk 😛

Emailed the buyer asking if it was a 'real copy' or a 'copy'. YOU have to do this now as many people sell boot legs!
