omg-my sister just had a heart failure... shes in a coma

i keep thinking this is a bad dream.....
she was born with a hole in her heart...
today she was having an irregular heart beat so they took her into the ER and they gave her medication and it didnt help. she slipped into a coma about an hour ago and her heart is still beating irregularly. they are gonna try and shock her heart into a regular beat again tomorrow morning.
i still keep thinking i will wake up from this dream...

I hope she pulls through this.. I had chatted a long time back with her and got to know her quite well. She will be in my thoughts and prayers tonite.

My cousin had a hole in his heart when he was born but it was operated on when he was 3 years old..so i know its hard when this happens.. hope she wakes up.. she is in good hands now.. the doctors know what they are doing.
 
I don't know you but I am sorry for your pain. My prayers are with you and your sister and your family. I hope all turns out well.

I am sure she has great doctors and they will take care of her and do what is best.

There's alot of things that aren't supposed to happen till you're old and grey, but unfortunately that's not always the case. My neice also had a hole in her heart when she was born, but they did surgery on her right after she was delivered and she seems to be ok now.

Hope your sister pulls through bud. I know health problems suck the big one.
 
OMG....... you are all in my thoughts and prayers, that is so horrible to happen to anyone, let alone at such a young age. Good luck... I really pray everything works out for your sister, and your family. 🙁
 
I have the same heart condition. In my case it is the ventricles that have the hole, which is preferable to the atrium. I never had surgery to correct it, but have been monitored and tested regularily since I was born. My doctor says the hole is shrinking on its own, but it may never fully close. Also I still have the requisite heart murmur that accompanies it. This can make for expensive health insurance. I have never let it be a hinderance to a full and happy life.
