Here is my system specs first off...
1700+ dlt3c 0310 does 2.5ghz
Abit nf7-s 2.0
2x256 Twinmos 3200 Bh-5 will do 227fsb 2,2,2,3 DC sync memtest stable even at top speed
Hercules 9700 pro oem 390/340
Maxtor 40gb ata133
slk-800 w/smart fan 2 (full speed)

Well first off my system kept hanging and rebooting while I was playing quake3 (it was really pissing me off). Even when i lowered the speed 100mhz it was doing this all of a sudden. The bios was reporting low temps (23 sys, 35 cpu) so I wasn't sure what the problem was. I wanted to check if maybe the heatsink wasn't making good contact since I've had 3 cpu's in and out in the last couple days. I also switched the position of my 2 sticks of ram and reapplied AS3 and attempted to reboot. I got nothing but a long beep that kept repeating slowly. I tried clearing cmos, reseating cpu, and exchanging ram slots with nothing working until this with only 1 ram stick. I haven't tried any overclocking or the other ram stick as I wanted to get this up first. I made sure I was grounded everytime I touched something so i'm pretty sure I didn't fry anything.

Damn manual doesn't have the beep codes in there.

I just tried both sticks indivdually and one of them wouldn't work in any slots and the other would work in only 1 slot. The one that worked wouldn't even work all the time, in fact it only worked if I try booting with both sticks then when shutdown after failed boot I remove the stick in the isolated slot and then it works. Right now i have this running 10x200 1.6v 2,2,2,5 auto for ram ratio.

Anyone have any ideas what that beed means and what component is bad? I also have 2 other 1700+'s here but don't think this is a cpu problem.
