OMG Lay's wavy milk Chocolate covered potato chips are bomb !

Stopped at seven-eleven a few minutes ago for a Christmas dip and bought some. They're soooooooooooo good ! Limited time for the holidays I'm sure, you owe it to your self to stuff your face with these.

Salt and chocolate can be a very tasty combo. I guess a chocolate covered potato chip might be a bit lowbrow for some, but I've had European dark chocolate bars that were infused with sea salt crystals, and it's actually quite good.

Not only that but potatoes (and especially mass produced chips) have a pretty neutral flavor. I don't think it would be bad at all. Chocolate covered pretzels are pretty decent.

I wouldn't want to eat a lot of them that's for sure, but I think it'd be an ok mix.

Yes salt and chocolate can definitely taste great but when I tried chocolate covered bacon, I didn't like it at all. The mix didn't taste right to me.

But bacon has powerful flavors of its own while potatoes are far more subtle. I haven't tried chocolate covered bacon; I'd presume a successful pairing would depend highly on what the bacon was cured with.
