Yeah, it was something like that, but I don't think he intended it like that, rather just made it in the shower; later on unwittingly exploiting the origins of the "delicious" salad - LOL!!!!

Many plants don't need direct sunlight, an in fact can't survive it. My bet is that ambient light and light from the bathroom lights should be enough.
