OMG! Jerboy was RIGHT! :Q

Remember how the dude was always going off about lightbulbs?
Well like three of them in my apartment were on their way out, so I bought some when I was out shopping. Bought a couple compact fluorescents and a few GE Reveal 100 bulbs.
The CF bulbs are freaking BRIGHT @ 25W, way brighter than standard GE Soft White 100W bulbs. And less harsh, too...not to mention they put out a fraction of the heat of the incandescents. I have a broken A/C unit so my bedroom gets hotter than Satan's balls when I turn the lights on.
The Reveal bulbs are cool; they put off a ghostly bluish-white light which looks nice in the bathroom and living room..but much more natural than standard fluorescent bulbs, closer to sunlight.

Ok, I'll stop now before I start sounding like J-boy. At least I don't quote the Lumens and exact K temp of each bulb.

yea reveal is good in bathrooms, thats where i have mine. its not good to have em in other rooms next to flourescents since the two lights look different and very wrong together

Truthfully, I don't. And why 'was'? Ah, I know it's in his sig, smth about that 'regular lightbulbs = suck', IIRC. Actually, I disagree. I use only regular General Electric lightbulbs and they never let me down. They shine for years w/o needing to replace them.
