OMG!!!!! Is there any way to reverse feedback on eBay???!!!

Go ahead and buy the speargun and go to where he left feedback on you and post
a response to the feedback saying there was miscommunication and have the seller
post a reply to your reply agreeing that there was a miscommunication and that you
did buy the item and everything is okay.

If I saw a guy with 200 positives and only 1 negative I wouldn't sweat it anyway. Now,
if I see 3 or 4 and they are all about being a non payer I would be uptight.

The posting in the feedback by the seller will ease anyone's mind about dealing with you.

Precisely. I'm currently 53-0-0, and busting my balls to keep those last two numbers zeroed out. I've only ever had to leave one negative feedback, and that was for an NPB on a cellphone. (Cheap bastard.)

I'm getting over it, right now it's just the shock of tarnishing my record over something so dumb.

How do we pay $20 to get it removed?

Just post a reply to his negative feedback. This easily neutralizes it. Also, leave him negative feedback just to let him know he shouldn't be too trigger happy in the future.

But 3 lefts do.

Look, Ebay Sucks. Ebay wants money. I try to avoid it like the plague.

Here's a link to Ebay's feedback info page. They remove negative feedback very rarely.

Never heard of paying them off to remove negative .......Even though Ebay likes money I don't think
they will do that 🙂

Busting balls for 53? I'm up to 361 with no negatives. I am honest in my selling and buying, so it's easy to maintain good feedback.

I do have neutrals due to people leaving ebay...

I also did receive one negative last year from a complete ass****, but the guy used a mild swear word in the feedback, and I petitioned Ebay to remove it and they did.....🙂 That is about the only way to have a negative removed.

You really do need to learn some manners as well do a little more reading and a little less typing.

DUH.................

"Circumstances where eBay will consider removing feedback

eBay is provided with a ruling or settlement agreement from an eBay-approved certified dispute resolution service. Such a ruling may be issued if the feedback recipient initiated a dispute resolution process and the member who left the feedback does not respond to the request for mediation."

The auction ended on Nov. 17th. Nov. 20th he relisted the item and gave me negative feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have around 200 positive, no neutral and only this one negative which is so blatantly undeserved!!!!!!! WTF WTF WTF??! I worked hard to get my feedback & so I called him up & he said "sorry, I thought you wasn't going to pay" Dude, I emailed him before the auction ended, after it ended, & I was travelling as he knew!!!

Anybody know what I can do? He's still willing to sell it to me, but I want some kind of effort on his part to remove that negative feedback. Is it even possible? Dude, this is so messed up.

Who are you on ther? joy-lyn or klownykid?

Bith of those users have negative feedback from the same seller, for the same reasons. joy-lyn is the high bidder now too..

SquareTrade Resolution service is required to get your eBay feedback removed and that service requires 20 bucks.

Can negative heatware be removed if it was a mistake?

Don't take the feedback system so seriously. Nobody really cares if you have some negatives under your belt. In fact, it's good to have a decent amount of negatives, to prevent future bidders who only bid on auctions to sabotage you. And, never go around flaunting you have a perfect record either, there are many nut cases out there who will track who you are on ebay to purposely destroy your feedback rating.

PM Heat23.

As far as REMOVING feedback, thats the first I have heard of it.

However, it still leaves an issue up in the air. What we have here is the payment of $20 and BOTH parties have to agree. WTF does that serve? If a seller does nothing wrong and the buyer is an ignoarant a jackass the $20 does NOT solve the problem. Vice versa if the buyer does nothing wrong, in this case. The case needs to be arbitrarily mediated to establish who is at fault rather than playing the blame game IMO.

I am sure Ebay would be willing to pay top dollar to a guy that could run their site any better.
Think about how large Ebay is and how it operates, the Squaretrade thing is at least something.
Its not easy running a site that large, but I guess you knew that already.

I will concede the fact that at least there is an option for a mistake to be fixed. But like I said. If these instances are CLEAR and EVIDENT that only one party is at fault, you cant get resolution unless the other party can overcome the obstinance and renege his/her/it's claim.

However, feedback is the least of ebay's problems. They have a long way to go if they want to create the safe trading enviroment they advertise.
