OMG - I'm never going to dig my car out!

Argo

It's covered by at least a tonn of snow. And then there's a 5' wall of compacted snow from a plow in front of it! And even if I do dig it out - there's no telling it's my car!

maybe i'm just odd, but i'd use a propane camp stove to melt most of it and then use the hose for the rest

Hmmm.. I can't even see the garage across the street where mine is parked, the morning commute home ought to be interesting,if I get to leave in the morning🙂

one snow storm and the world is comming to and end for you folks 😀

try living through the harsh ones up here in ontario 😉

Have you actually done this or does it just sound like a good idea to you? Depending on the temperature outside, you could freeze every opening in your car shut.

Wait until the snow plows pay your neighborhood a visit. They'll push even more snow up and around your vehicle. If I were you, I'd get the car out now and park it in a local (cleared) parking lot before the snow plows come by. Once they do, it'll be all over for you. 🙁

Q: Why was the snow man smiling?

A: He heard the SNOW BLOWER comming!

Lol,that was sooo bad? Did you steal it from Harvey? 🙂

I just shoveled the first foot of snow here. Probably be another foot to shovel tomorrow.
Thank god there is no school tomorrow.

Snowblower good.😀
I had my car parked at the bottom of the driveway, away from the road. I also helped move my sister's car down the driveway - that was interesting, because when I say "down" the driveway, I mean that it does slope down toward the house, away from the road. Most of the way down the mostly cleared driveway, I realized why the back wheels didn't want to follow the front wheels - the back wheels were stuck. The tire tracks down the driveway were quite interesting - could see right where the rear wheels finally started turning, and fell behind the front.

All the cars park on the street here are covered up to the roof with plowed snow. The thing that gets me was that the cops were ticketing all the cars parked on the street. That is all the cars they could reach.

Friggen street department plowed a mound right at the end of my driveway. I wasn't even looking when I backed out of the garage and slowly creeped right into it and got stuck.

As if that wasn't bad enough, my friggen neighbor came out and laughed at me...At least he helped pull the car out. So now, I must have snow/ice in the wheels, cause the car shimmys and shakes when I get over 30MPH. I truly dislike the street dept
