Too cute! Why have I never heard of this critter before?

It looks like it would be much more fun than a hamster. 😉
 
i want to say that's not real. But it actually does appear to be a real animal in that video, or they did a good job.
hmm. it's an intriguing little critter. Can I have one?
 
hmm, had to resort to wiki. And I am even more intrigued.
The jerboas, looking at their skeleton, makes me think of them as mini, mammalian velociraptors. 😀
 
That thing's kind of sinister looking. The look on it's face says 1" closer, and I'm gonna tear you a new asshole :^D

It looks like someone took a kangaroo rat, chopped out the torso between its arms and hips, and sewed the two together.
