*goes back to work silently*

A nice view tends to keep you going 🙂

lol...frankly, at the end I was so exhausted that during my last sprint i was outright chasing one...lol..I wanted to catch up with her at the water fountain to chat about the weather but she got away🙁 That was at the 9mile mark...I was jsut exhausted by then.

FYI the map says 9.77 miles but since I took a few breaks I am took out the .77 (more than generous for what I walked)

You probably ran like 10 miles and just aren't willing to tell us about the last part.

/stares silently.

I was listening to a podcast before I ran (I walk ~1 mile+ to and from the starting/finishing point) that was talking about gamblers and about their addiction.

The story went into how the gamblers get into a 'zone' where they are in a special mental state where they are completely fixed on one task or one group of tasks. Gambling was described as incompatible with our learning system in its precieved randomness (to the leyman) and that many gamblers experienced a large Dopamine release during these sessions even before they won. The process of exploring the unknown was enough.

And so, as i switched on my music, I looked at the fork, and instead of going right as I always have done (starts downhill), I decided to go left (started uphill..and what a bitch that was😛)

There were no witnesses and I'd like to keep it that way.

Seriously though, I do agree that swimming is better but Running is unforgiving which is why I love it so much.

Running is like pussy. Feels so incredibly good and I get withdrawal when I don't have it. Supposedly good for my body too, although I have endured quite a physical toll in pursuit of it.

I hate running but it comes with my job, good work, keep it up because if you stop it only gets harder to start again. 😉

Sometimes i do have a hell of a motivation to move fast though so i'm glad that i can. 😀
