why cant he stop saying thank you? come on of course the software isnt gonna know when you really mean commands and when your just talking to yourself. Half the problem was between the keyboard and the chair

1) Is this software even designed for programmers? I doubt it.. seems more intended for word processing or e-mails and things like that. Of course punctuation intensive stuff like he was doing will be difficult.

2) He is either an idiot or trying to make it fail by repeating "capital I" over and over. The first time he said "press capital I" he should've realized that was the command.

3) Its voice activated.. no sh!t its going to type "Thank you" when you say that!

4) Even if the software sucks, which I don't think this video proves, this isn't even funny.

Agreed. And I'm not sure why continued to say "type" before some things, just say what you want.

Anywho, it works very well for what it's intended for. I can't imagine anyone intelligent enough to code would be suckered into losing their temper with this built-in tool.

The guy is a tard. I have no problems doing what he does. I have no problems opening parenthesis. And you don't say 'press caps lock'. Just 'caps lock' will do it. I have no problems with Press Capital I to get I. Sounds like he's using his laptop builtin mic. Get a good mic/headset and you can code just fine.

I have to disagree with you, because every error it's typing what he's saying almost spot on. He says "capital i" and it prints "capital i" on the screen, he says "captial info" it's printing it on the screen instead of making it capital. If his mic was low quality there's no way it would have this kind of accuracy. I tried this and it worked about as well for me. I question anyone who claims the voice recognition in Vista works wonderfully for them.
