OMG I love Kazaa!

I just found something that redefines my idea of pure audio goodness. I found an electric version of SRV's version of Little Wing. It's mostly him anyways. Oh goodness.

My version is called: Eric Johnson, J.Satriani, Steve Vai, S.mp3

(stupid people on kazaa don't know how to name mp3s)


Anyways, it sounds to be a bunch of guys playing together, but the guy doing most of the solo work is unmistakably SRV 😀

That's the one. Hendrix's version is what? 2:30 long or so? SRV's remake is just one long 6:50 guitar solo 😀 It's pretty amazing. Now there's this other version I just found which is slightly different and a bit more upbeat.

For Audio -> Blubster is undoubtedly the best

For Files -> eMule if you must use P2P

Keep in mind that there is an G3 recording of Little Wings floating around. I can't confirm if it's 101% true ... I'll try to check the setlists from 6 years ago.

That'd be sweet.

One other thing I've been looking for: There are some videos of him during his MTV unplugged show, and I've found Pride and Joy. I think that session was the one where he recorded that acoustic 12 string guitar solo too. I've got the mp3 of that, but I'd really love to see that video some time. I haven't been able to find it yet though...
