We were playing around trying to come up with a good sauce to put on our steaks tonight to mask the fact that they wern't the best cuts of meat. Well we decide that we're going to make a brown sugar and burbon sauce. Started by melting about half a stick of butter in a pan, then adding in a bunch of brown sugar. Once the brown sugar began to melt and carmalize we added in a good ammount of wild turkey burbon. Also, we tossed in a can of sliced peaches that we had drained the majority of the juices out of. We then let the whole thing simmer and cook down. Let me just say that it tasted EXTREMELY good 😀
I think the peaches and the extra peach juice added that extra kick, but I've got a new sauce that's going on all my steaks from now on 😀
