Curious, what made him a "dirty" old man? Did he touch your pee pee? 😕
And who are you? The pee-pee police? 😕
I was just thinking that "angry" or "confused" may have been a better choice of words than "dirty".

It's got to suck getting old. Just today I was at the barbers, and this old guy next to me was finishing up his haircut. He left, and the barber walked back, only to yell out, Aw, god damn it! Turns out the old guy had gone to the bathroom, and somehow managed to take a dump on the floor, all over the wall, and still have enough to clog the toilet. Disgusting.

Wait wait... forget the old man... tell us more about this spring. It's just coming out of the ground? You're drinking this water without filtering or cleaning it? I am really not understanding this... pics?

I dearly wish I had my camera. I would have started taking pics of the old dude right then😀 But, really, where do you think water comes from? There's no city water out where I live, everyone gets their water from the ground, through a well. The water in my well is pretty nasty tasting. It's potable, it just tastes bad, so we get drinking water from the spring. It flows out of an old hardwood forest and it's very pure, and it tastes great. This is the sticks man, no city water for me.

Wow... imagine that! Water coming from the ground! I want some of that sweet water! 😀

I would have just pushed him into the pool which would also take a slight load off the social security system.

What a nut, anyways I could let ya borrow my Black Volitan (thanks for the advice he is cool) to put in the spring water, next time the guy sticks his hand in there...Wham! He'll wanna cut his hand off.

Nobody should ever make the mistake of thinking that the elderly are the "kindly grandparently" type (generally speaking). Most are in reality the "get out of the way because I deserve it" type.

When younger people stop rubber-stamping legislation that hands a large part of their income over to seniors, it may stop this mind-set by both groups.

Now that you have met the recipients, are you anxious to give half your income toward their comfort? Because as things stand, you are going to.

Did they say "thank you" while you were waiting?

Wee!! That the spring on Route 78 in Buchtel? I went to Hocking Collage and I used to get water there.

The spring is literally 3 or 4 pvc pipes sticking out of the side of a hill flowing into a big catch basin. It is tested regularily for water quality. It is very good tasting water. I lived in the neighboring town that had city water that was horrible. If you let a glass of water sit, an "oil slick" would form on top. If you let it sit over night, white flakes of stuff would settle out on the bottom of the glass. It was NASTY. 🙂

No, it's just off of State Route 13, about a mile from Thornport. A five gallon bucket of my well water registers on a metal detector😱 It's really bad.

Oh? And where did you come up with this fascinating statistic? You do realize that most people who are elderly now worked long and hard at crap jobs (by and large) to feed money into this country? But because of the sh!tstorm that is Social Security, a lot of elderly people live well below the poverty line and are too demented to do anything about it.

I worked in a nursing home that specialized in Alzheimer's for five years, and I can tell you that most of their actions are the sickness and not a true measure of their personality. Do you BLAME them for having a disease which they have no control over? They don't CHOOSE to be senile and have little comprehension of the present; it's not like that think it'll be neat-o to act psychotic. Some of them are just bitter people, yes, but that doesn't make them any less human.

You don't think the elderly deserve to be taken care of? At what age does a human being stop deserving care? Should we cut off everyone over 65? 60? When do they stop being human beings? When do they no longer deserve money that they paid into the system over the years? Should we just say fvck it and cut off everyone who has a disease and can't provide for themselves? Survival of the fit taken to psychotic extremes?
