The list of all shoes that I own:
1) Shoes I wear every day
2) Dress shoes
3) Running shoes
4) Hiking boots
5) Sandals
6) Shoes I used to wear every day before buying 1) that I should throw away
7) Shoes I used to wear every day before buying 6) that I should throw away
If I didn't hike and got rid of my old shoes I could narrow that down to the first two.
1) Shoes I wear every day

I have.. 7 pairs of shoes.
blue Nike sandals, Brown Tommy Hilfiger shoes, Black Alfani shoes, cheap pair of easyspirit brown shoes (that are really comfortable, so I wear them all the time), a pair of white vans, a pair of old pumas (use for sports), and a pair of black steve madden shoes.
I have a pair of adidas cross-trainers also, but they don't fit so I don't wear them. (plus, I can't find them..)

My gf is another Imelda Marcos too. Last weekend I counted 9 pairs of shoes in her car trunk, about 20 pairs in our closet, 16-17 pairs on the shoes rack at the door, and a 18"x18" cardboard box full of shoes (about 40 pairs) in the basement. Currently she has cut down on the shopping because I have been complaining that we are running out of room for her stuffs, therefore she only purchase about 2-3 pairs of shoes ++2-3 outfit a month. About a year ago she was averaging a pair + an outfit per week.
My gf is bad, but cousin is worst, because her husband had to built an entire wall of shelf in his garage for her, and it contained over 200 pairs of her shoes. He once made her go return a pair she just brought home because she purchased the exactly same pair a year before & it was sitting in the original box on the shoes shelf.
I think shopping is a women thing and even more so for Asian women.

Whats really cool is that the average guy (e.g. me) thinks that most of those look exactly the same.
No guy needs more than three pairs of shoes.
