Depends on the stage of the sore, yes. Yes, herpes or canker sore. Seems when we all get on here, and give our diagnosis, we all become MD's. ;)

Excellent! That's the word I couldn't remember.

Got anything better to say? WTF gets herpies on the inside of their lips? Anyways 95% of the population has a form of the virus on anyways so I doubt it'd make a difference.

Its called Oral Herpes ;)

And can take many forms inside, and outside, the mouth. Such as these pictures ;)

And as seen in the second picture in this link can look like a zit on the inside of your lip ;)

Not to scare the op but you may want to go get it checked out so that you dont pass on the herps if you happen to have it ;)

It sounds like a canker sore. They usually just hurt and go away eventually. I've never tried to pop one of those, though. I don't know if you can.

There is a medical name for these. My dentist told me once, but I don't remember it. I used to get them about once a week, but haven't had them in years.

canker sores?

Yeah, canker sores are what I have always heard them called. Not sure if that's the "medical" term for the, though... hehe.
