OMG!! I got an awesome airfare!

I'm flying from Detroit to Reagan National on May 5, and returning on May 9. Spirit Airlines' fare for the trip? $39 each way. With taxes and fees, I'm paying $98 round trip.

I originally wanted to drive from Detroit to DC, but for this price, I'll be spending less on flying than I would be spending on gas and meals for the trip (it's 8 hours).

Now I have more money for a nicer hotel! I'm staying at the Residence Inn on Vermont Ave. Looks like a nice place.
