My neigbor is a kid who lives in a completely protected family. He was grounded for being 3 minuted late home. When I asked his parents, they admitted that they had NOTHING scheduled. Whenever I talk to him, he repeats obsessively the trailer for "Master of disguise." He rsys blankly staring, "Only one man can be cammy num nums, etc..." I honestly think he might have some kind of social (mild?) autism that I have read of, since he talks without registering facial expressions at all. If you look uninterested, he just keeps talking. If he does something unintentionally mildly amusing and you laugh, he asks you in a straight face, "Why are you laughing?" Everytime I try to give him a hint, he doesnt recognize it at all. He asks me, "was that a hint?" when I say, "Maybe you should be getting home." Add to that a mild speech issue, a little "hum" or "mphh" noise that he makes at the end of a word. I'm worried about him, but he should also be glad that I've been kind with my words and also restrained myself from beating him. :Q :| :D

Oh well, needed to rant. I'm hoping he grows out of it. He's 12 and i'm 14.

His parents are people my parents wanted to be socially involved with. Every time I get home from school and walk in the door, the phone is ringing. He waits for me to get home. My sister told me that when I was gone at camp, she drove by my house and saw him sitting and staring at our house on the sidewalk. He is also obsessed with my pets (chicken and ducks, I know, I know) to the point that he would get in argument with me. He would go to my back yard without my permission in the middle of our conversation, running. He would sit in the chicken coop and pout. :Q

No, I live in Seattle, near Greenlake. I get wierd looks for my pets all the time.
My parents are artists, hence the eccentric pets. My mom actually illustrated A&W fun meal boxes and a series of chilren's books (Just one more? I think).

Lol, your post cracked me up.

I feel too sorry for him to beat him up. I'm not thst kind of person, though. I sprayed him with our hose once when he got into an argument with me. He ran home and came back 5 minutes later with his dad, who explained to me that I hust his feelings. I felt like spraying them both to make an end of it. I nearly cracked up too. :D

Join the baseball team or something that requires you to stay after school. Keep yourself busy with extracurricular activities and get home late. Maybe he won't be waiting.

Well, I hate my neighbors too. But, today, a "for sale" sign went up in front of their house. Yeah!

Why do I hate them? About 3 months ago, one of their small children (about 5 years old) was walking around with a rock and happened to scratch my vehicle and another neighbor's police (Secret Service) vehicle. The other neighbor and myself approached the father of the child and told him about what I had just witnessed in regards to his child scratching our cars. The father said "what do you want me to do about it?" Fortunately, we were able to take some polishing compound and get the scratches removed. Ever since that day, the father has been an a$$ towards me. Oh well. Buh Bye!

Dude if your parents are artists, that is way cool, you should not be hanging out in ATOT .. :)
I think it's cool that you have chickens and ducks as pet, that is sweet. About the retard kid, just tell him you're busy all the time, eventually, no matter how stupid he is, he'll let up and find someone else to idolize.
