Ok...just saw the trailer...where does this fit in between El Mariachi and Desperado? After Desperado? If so, why are the brothers there and the guy with the knives (who, btw, was also in From Dusk Till Dawn and Spy Kids )? Is this a prequel to Desperado? If so, why is Salma Hayek in there?

robert trejo = guy with knives.

robert rodriguez likes to reuse characters, his friends. so, what happened to the knife guy and the bartender (cheech marin) in the past... thats exactly what it is, the past. they are entirely new characters and itll be like those past characters never existed. kinda like how he used cheech marin for 3 different roles in from dusk till dawn.

edit: after desperado if my memory serves me correctly.

yep. i was excited when this project was first announced, but that was like 2-3 years ago. im happy to finally have a opening date for this movie and for it to be so soon. to celebrate, i think im going to watch el mariachi/desperado.
