However, it's about 99 percent about the states. Have hardly seen any Canadian politics in there.

that part confused me. Islamic clerics in eartern India. Are the Islamics bringing over their culture over to India or the Islamic clerics adapting to the Indian culture?

I know in Canada folks follow the core Canadian culture, no matter where they come from.

I assumed it was the same in India.

edit: since i'm neither an expert in either the Indian or Islam cultures.....I'm open to ideas
