I bought and ate a pineapple for the first time. MY TONGUE IS BURNING AND THE SIDES ALITTLE BIT.. AM I allergic or sumting????????

NO u can't have my computer.. SO it's just acidic,, but i didn't even taste sour.. I drank some milk,, it's still burning

get an 8 oz glass of water, stir in a teaspoon of baking soda
swish it around your mouth like a mouth wash for 30 seconds

dude,, seriously,,, it still burning,, i brushed my teeth,,, drank milk and some beer,,... NOTHIGN happening,, still burns

um, yeah, it's a acidic, but less that something like orange juice (don't quote me on that, someone google it). An allergic reaction to a pineapple though, I find that doubtful. Possible it was sprayed with some type of pesticide or preservative that you're allergic to.

For fresh pineapple, you need to dip the pieces in salt water before eating to neutralize the acid.
