I upgrade the motherboard, CPU and video card and as soon as the system starts loading Windows at the loading screen, the system reboots. Usually when I upgrade I would run Windows setup from the CD and do a Repair Reinstallation. However, this time it doens't have such option. It only got DELETE the current Windows directory and reinstall everything and the command prompt repair option. What do I do??? Help... I got a lot of school work on the system...

Thx,

If you choose the option to delete the windows directory, it will only delete that directory. It wont touch any other files. The only thing that you would have to do is reinstall drivers, apps etc. But you wont lose your documents. I've done this over 1,000 times. No need to worry.

Looks like your going to need to backup your emails to a pst file. Have you tried booting in safe mode?

Also, if you have another hard drive laying around. Throw that in as your primary, Install Xp on it, and hook up the drive with all your stuff as your secondary. And back your stuff up.
