Knowing that Microsoft owns Bungie, I seriously doubt that. How could you question MS's integrity? Anyways, I will buy both and be happy.

But was Halo a popular game for the pc? Is there a huge following for the game in the pc gaming community? Will pc gamers who play CS:S, Painkiller, Doom 3, Battlefield series, UT series..etc care about Halo 2 by the time Vista comes out? (end of this year I assume)

By the time Halo 2 comes out there will probably be another Battlefield game, Unreal Tournament 2007 is out there (with next gen visuals unlike Halo 2)..etc. Too little too late in my opinion.
