OMG, guess where I am going!

On the weekend of May 10th, I will be in Philadelphia, PA, for the Matchbox Twenty concert, at the First Union Spectrum. And, its my first trip to Philadelphia. So, any advice on what we should see, while there? Besides Rob Thomas that is, yum!!

I live in Philly and you have to hit up South Street in downtown Philly. You definately also have to eat a cheese steak at Jim's Steaks. Its on South Street, just ask if you cant find it, its one of the best places in town.

If you like hole in the wall bars, go to Dirty Franks. It has no sign but it is on the corner of 13th and Pine Street. An interesting mix of yuppies art students and bikers. They have two types of beer. Fookin dark and fookin light...

Frank's is close to South Street, so if you don't like it there, there are lots of options nearby.

Another cool area is Olde City.

There's a lot of clubs in Philly but I don't know if that's your type of thing. But one thing Philly does have is a lot of good retaurants. If you wanna be greasy we got cheesesteak spots, if you wanna be classy, there's a lot of restuarants in the city. check out philly.com

And you can always do the corny stuff like seeing the liberty bell, independence hall, or the art museum. Just don't go running up the steps like Rocky.
