ping or traceroute? If it's just a ping, STOP. Do a traceroute and see where it stops or has issues. That's the problem. If it doesn't stop evar, there's your problem.

Yeah, I got 13 hops. The problem seems to be outside of my provider, even.

Edit: SW Ontario, Canada, Sympatico.

Hmmmm, Sympatico recently made an alliance with MSN... the "new" MSN Search is now up and running... am I being paranoid about Bell business practices?

Mine's back up, so the collusion must be minor. Unless thier plan is to make small, repeated "Google downs," so that we start thinking that the big G is unreliable.

Ahh, paranoia is fun.

It would of been a good idea to blank out the firewall ip address...

I hope no one uses your external IP against you.

It's fairly public knowledge already. :)

LOL, you want me to just get out of here and never return?

No, but if a system has a public IP people already know about it. ;)

If I was a bastard I would have copied it down or saved the jpeg. ;)

If you want it, it's still in an open window I have when I was checking out her traceroute.

I just left to go to a meeting without closing anything down....:p
