The screen can be replaced witha better one. But if it is fake, that is one hell of a good photoshop job. Notice the finger prints over the screen actually have some distance between that and the screen.

 

Looks like it might be an iPaq in a Gameboy case. Dunno. No way Linux is going to run on 8-bit, 1989 hardware.

It's fake...if you look at the bottom picture, you'll see at the top of the screen that there's a decent amount of shadow, yet the text is still fairly bright. I own a gameboy color (w00t!), and know for a fact that the thing isn't backlit...meaning I only wish the screen would remain that bright without an overhead light present. Heck, even with light it's hard to see at times, heh.

Its gott be fake. If you look and the words on the GB itself it is out of focus, but the text on the screen is in focus. I know the screen is in a little deeper than the case, but not that much for one to be out of focus.

it is fake...look at the left hand side of the screen..theres a visible black gap running down the side but its not there on the right side.....looking at my gameboy i dont see such a thing. and thats no shadow either.
