So I got a new tv last week and got around to hooking up an antenna to get local OTA HD stations. All I could pick up was ABC. I turn on the tv and a morning show with Regis and some blonde girl name Kelly is on, this shit is cringe worthy. To make matters worse they were talking about tweeting.

I parked to close to the edge of the driveway last night when I got home and of course it rained all night last night so I was forced to walk through the mucky wet grass with my work/dress shoes on to get into the car.

That reminds me - I've got some weirdo mutant grass taking hold in the front yard. Usually grows an inch in the 24 hours after being cut, sticking up above the rest of the normal grass. Makes me look like I can't mow.

I'm amazed that no one has come into the thread to say: "I don't even own a TV, haven't watched that drivel in years!"

Yeah, morning talk shows are terrible. I am making myself busy not working at work!

I used to pickup my local channels OTA since DirecTV didn't have my local channels in HD, and I thought the reception and picture quality were top notch.

just depends on where you are at... I lived downtown St. louis, and I tried half a dozen different hd antennaes and reception never improved with any of them. I just couldn't get good a good signal, period. Only half of the channels came in.
