Take advantage of it, learn the language. There aren't many brothers around who speak it.
O i have picked up on some. When i go to CHinese restaurants and say, nee how nee how- or shay shay, they usually look at me with amazement.
actually being chinese, whenever a random black guy says nee how or shay shay to me, i just think he's a racist dumbfück.
it'd be like me going up to a black guy and talking in ebonics.
trust me they are NOT amazed at your language skills.
Well I dont walk up to some random guy and speak like that. I only speak like that to people in my company, who i feel comfortable with, and when i go out to Chinese, just to be polite. Not trying to be racist or anything, just letting them know I am familiar with their culture, even if its a little bit.
But i wouldnt walk up to some chinese guy and jsut say, nee how.
As far as you speaking ebonics, not all blacks talk like that. Most chinese say, hello or thank you. But be my guest, go up to some black guys next time you are in the mall and say, yo....................................
tell me what happens
