OMG!!! Beware of what you do at the office. Someone may be watching. :-)

We recently expanded the training room and relocated our video conferencing ISDN lines to another wall. We have a major meeting with another site so I decided to test the equipment lest something go wrong. I did a loopback test to ensure that things were in order. Then I decided to contact a remote site to see if I could get a proper connection. My finger slipped and I accidently dialed the number for one of our distributors. To my surprise I heard a ring and a connection was established. What I got was a conference room and in the background was some noise. I flipped to "remote camera" and panned the lens.

HOLY COW!!!

I saw two people making out and getting touchy feely in general right in the middle of the work day. I then zoomed in to see if it was anyone I knew. I guess they noticed the camera move because the girl stopped and asked, "Why did that move?"

The guy asked, "What move?"

The girl responded, "The camera, it moved."

I then saw to guy pick up the remote to turn on the TV and I quickly terminated the connection.

Warning folks, beware of what you do at work because you never know who may be watching.

PFAHAHAHA you woulda been better off if you left that part out 😉

When can we expect the movie to show up on pr0n sites? I mean, you DID have the vcr running, right? 😉

Haha. That reminds me of a famous incident at a Wall Street firm that was taken out by Chase (no not JP Morgan) where a married sales guy from SF started making out with a saleswoman from NY after a conference. The camera to the room was on the whole time and the whole trading floor and all the branches saw and was flabbergasted. Finally, an MD sent someone into the room to tell them that everyone was watching.

Sure enough, that guy got divorced and married the saleswoman.

Most of those ISDN videoconference machines auto-answer. Sometimes a mis-dial gets you strange results...

OMG, that was you, Windogg?? I'm so embarrassed.

😉

Did you make note of the number you accidentally dialed, so you can check back in again later and see how things are going?

Sure no problem the number was:

Record? It's not like I planned on evesdropping. 🙂 I think the chances of seeing this again are 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. Unfortunatly the video conferencing equipment does not have a VCR attached. I had to disconnecy quick because if they turned on theit TV, they would've seen me and the company logo hanging on the wall behind me (which also tells what city I'm in).
