We recently expanded the training room and relocated our video conferencing ISDN lines to another wall. We have a major meeting with another site so I decided to test the equipment lest something go wrong. I did a loopback test to ensure that things were in order. Then I decided to contact a remote site to see if I could get a proper connection. My finger slipped and I accidently dialed the number for one of our distributors. To my surprise I heard a ring and a connection was established. What I got was a conference room and in the background was some noise. I flipped to "remote camera" and panned the lens.
HOLY COW!!!
I saw two people making out and getting touchy feely in general right in the middle of the work day. I then zoomed in to see if it was anyone I knew. I guess they noticed the camera move because the girl stopped and asked, "Why did that move?"
The guy asked, "What move?"
The girl responded, "The camera, it moved."
I then saw to guy pick up the remote to turn on the TV and I quickly terminated the connection.
Warning folks, beware of what you do at work because you never know who may be watching.
