We live in a good market for that...so many million dollar+ homes going up around here, and custom A/V setups are quite popular. Most of the high-end custom A/V shops don't have much media center PC experience though, and homebuilt systems can go much farther than the XP Media Center PCs sold at Best Buy etc.. Loaded with the right software (Linux-based or Windows XP) I could sell one at a sweet markup. Car-based PCs would be fun to build too!
I'd be careful doing cars at that level. When you start going that far out, you get VERY touchy customers. Last thing you want is some guy screaming cause you yoinked up his Lotus dash and you cant fix it.... Or have to pay for the dealer too!
