OMG another EA game that 1) i like 2) feels well made!

just downloaded need for speed most wanted demo and had a little go

turned everything to the max at 12x10.....ran like butter. the graphics are brilliant, the car models are very very well done, there doesnt appear to be any messed up bugs in this demo like there was in Bf2 demo (ie crazy shadows) and as soon as u press quit your back at your desktop instantly and you can use your comp as normal

i know fear and Bf2 when you quit you gotta wait for ages while your HDD's crunch away.

this game is arcadey in its feel like NSFU, but it seems to be console style in the way it operates.....which for me is a good thing

the last two burnouts have been ace too, but thats just EA stamping their mark on criterions creation, whoever they've made this with deserves a medal its awesome!

Racing games are fun. I wish EA or someone would release another bike racing game like SBK 2000. Man, that game rocked! 😀

they need to make a new nascar racing games, id missed the old papy/sierra nascar racing games. The ones from ea are pure junk.

I always liked the NFS games.

I'm filerushing this one now, since i forgot about it till i saw this thread.

need for speed died when underground was released...then everybody 16 and under was like WHOA SIDE VENTS WILL GIVE ME MAD HP.

haha yeah... NFSU lets people build ricers, not real cars 🙁

i still have NFSIII: Hot Pursuit 😀

I was blown away by the demo. My expectations were pretty low after the undergrounds (rice is not my thing). The only thing I worry about is if they'll have enough locales in this game. If there are six or so areas like the one (campus and surrounding area) in the demo, this could be great. I couldn't believe how fun and intense the demo was. Totally unexpected from the company I thought had completely sabotaged my favorite racing series.

So a 300hp magnum is more real than a 300hp lancer? Sure :disgust:
