What have you heard?? From who? From where? I was seriously thinking of getting this. Seeing as my Tikka wont be available till (at best) 05 I might as well pick up something else.

I saw one of these at a gunshow some time ago and became interested. After some research on the net and talking to a few friends who know far more about these, I came to the conclusion that is was likely a pos.

The main issues seem to be: Poor fit and finish, crappy trigger, and weak materials used excessively.

The number of people that have problems with these apparently outnumber the ones who don't. This is reflected in it's relatively low market value.

You can pick up $50-$60 Mosins at most of the big distributors now in excellent condition.

Because if it's available to the public, "all the wrong people" have access to them as well (I know it would still be possible to get even if wasn't public - but it wouldn't be as easy or common). The idea of getting 50 bullets shot at me in 1 or 2 seconds is kinda scary.

The only reason I see for the Java here is a weak attempt to stop people from saving the pics. Print screen key circumvents it easy though.
