if you honestly think a 12" 1000w "competition" sub is 54 bucks i have some beach front property in kansas to sell you

i mean c'mon, seriously, a 300watt jl 12w3 will run you 150, what the heck could you be smoking to even think that you can get a quality 1000watt sub for 54 dollars

1KW=the maximum ELECTRICAL input of the speaker. Need I say more?

A crap 1KW speaker isn't better than high quality 700W speaker.

How much does a 12" JL Audio 12W0-4 run?

my friend bought the 1800 watt amp and the 2 12"'s and the 12's are like 8-9lb with the magnet.

ummm....my 10" orions are easily 15-18lbs, i'd say anything weighing only 8-9lbs for a 12" sub is pretty crap and wouldn't trust feeding too much power to them

What's the db/w/m rating on that thing? Watt is a completely useless measure of speaker unless you know the sensitivity(db/w/m)

Pioneer 6x9 TS-A6995, $150 in crutchfield, $89 at this site.

Blaupunkt PCxt693, $60 in crutchfield, $42.95 at this site & $39 (they have them twice :confused😉

Hmm, my stocks are dead...$9.99, can I go wrong? lol

My Klipsch KG3s have bigger magnets on them and they are only 8" drivers.

Hey! You can get some 500+watt PC speakers off of Ebay real cheap too!! That's more watts than Klipsch 5.1 Promedias!!! 🙂

They'll sound like crap in comparison though.
