I'm in heaven!

I just got home and setup my new monitor! Its so fscking awesome!

17" NEC FE700+

I had an old POS 15" Azura. The colors were terrible, it was dark as hell!

THIS IS SO BRIGHT AND CLEAR AND EVERYTHING IS SO SHARP!

I'm seeing things I didn't even know existed! Did you know in Winamp there were little letters on the left that acted as shortcuts to prefrences and file info and sh!t? I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY EXISTED! rofl

I'm running at 1024x768 @ 85 Hz. I could only do 800x600 @ 75 on my old monitor! (without using large fonts it was blury as hell)



 
LOL, you probably haven't seen any 21" FD Trinitrons flat screens yet. That's 10x heaven of what you have right now 🙂

lol... for the first time I was able to open my "collection", and didn't have to adjust the brightness and contrast just to see something 😀

Geez you guys. I'm talking about my collection of Family Guy episodes. If you wan't pics of me watching Family Guy on my new monitor, I'm sure I can hook you up 🙂
 
I'm not a big fan of the trinitrons. I have a crappy 19" CTX at work, and right next to it is a 15" Trinitron, and in the other room, up for grabs is a 19" Trinitron. I've used it a couple times and I just didn't like it.
 
I started out at 15".. then i bought a 17" and I'm currently at 19"... its a down spiral with monitors... once you hit a certain level.. you can't go back... and then you starting thinking about the next montior up.

too true, but then again, the one up from mine is a 21, and that wouldnt fit on my desk!
