Dont worry, he's gonna die on the ice when he gets another concussion.

(btw, it will be a sad day when it happens, but IT WILL happen. Lindros is a moron to consider ever playing again. He will die on the ice.)

<< Damn! With Jagr and Lindros, Rangers MUST win this season's CUP!!! >>

Ummmm... Jagr plays for Washington, not NY.

poor rangers ... they bought some guy who's going to undoubtedly snap every bone in his body at one time, then die a long, slow death on the ice.

most injury prone player I've ever seen -- I wouldn't call this a good venture :: his family's life insurance claim is going to be huge!

We (Philadelphia) got:

Jan Hlavac = Good 2nd or 3rd line winger like Brind'Amour

Kim Johnsson = Good 1st or 2nd line left Defensemen

Pavel Brendl = Could go eitherway, as he has great goal scoring ability but not a good work ethic i.e.(Alexandre Daigle)

Draft Pick = Depending on how long Lindros lives thru the season, will determine the type of draft pick it is.

Not a bad deal overall for us....but if he has a break out season, we could be in for a long 5-9 year hiatus of watching the Rangers own our hockey A$$es.

The Rangers got Eric Lindros and a Draft pick determined on how he performs....If he does well enough, no draft pick for NY.

Also as a side note, The Rangers have just settled with Brett Hull on a contract to be announced sometime next week publicly.

Eric is a damn good hockey player he has in eight season with Phily 290 goals and 369 assists. Not to mention he has been in six all star teams and won an mvp.Now a healthy Lindros is a good player I hope he gets his cup and quits because he can get really fvcked up.Hopefully the Rangers tell him to keep his head up.

Clarke may have brought Phily the cup when he played but he sure hasn't brought it in years.Clarke was so happy when Eric was in Phily he was suppose to be the Phily superstar to bring the cup.It did fail and he didn't bring a cup but I don't see why people blame Eric for that I mean if Wayne couldn't make LA get the cup how could Lindros bring it to Phily. It takes more than one player to win.

Brett Hull in a NYR uniform... I'm glad we had him in Dallas these 3 years, but it was time for him to go.

Eric Lindros and his parents are what got Eric Lindros run out of town Beowulf, not Bob Clarke. This guy has a history of allowing his parents to run his career for him and its gotten him a nefarious reputation throughout the league and his career as being a primadonna. He's quiet in public about situations he helps make bad in private. Although I'll miss watching number 88 play for the old Orange and Black, I would love to see someone take his head off the first time he takes a face off in the Big Bank Building.

Can't we trade for Rich Pilon, Scott Stevens or Darius Kasparaitis...Just for the first Rangers/Flyers Game?

If Eric plays Phily am sure they will try to get him knocked out.The fact is at one point or another Eric was everything in Phily. If you want Eric his parents will follow you can moan and cry but face it he loves his parents and how they run his career.

The phrase what goes around comes around
springs to mind
also live by the sword dies by the sword
If he can stay healthy and Mr. Rehab (Theo) flies straight
with Bret, the rangers might surprise a lot of people
Of course there are a lot of ifs in that scenario
Plus if by some miracle Lindros makes it to the playoffs
the clock will really start clicking then ;)

I think part of the deal was that he had to have an injury free season to see most of the money, if he gets injured, hes gonna get almost nothing.
