WHAT KIND OF F___ING IDIOT AM I?!?!?!?!?!

AMD SPLITS 2:1!!!!!!

I CANT BELIEVE THIS

i bought the shares around march of last year thinking that it would double, i sold this year around the same time getting back about 3-4x the money when it was at $50/share! i didnt think it would be even that succesful at the time. NOW THEY ARE SPLITTING THE STOCK?!?!?!?!

I KEEP KICKING MYSELF IN THE HEAD FOR THIS ONE, somehow, AMD always has a way of rubbing it in. ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!

I applaud my Dad. He's a big winner here.

according to his portfolio, he bought 500 shares on 4/7/99.

cost then, about $8K

worth today, over $45K!

F-ing A!

Just means if you have 5 shares worth 2 bucks a peace you now have 10 shares worth 1 buck a peace. I think.

Trinitron has it, but I think most stock goes up really high a few days after the split. Even the very day it splits. But then again my stock knowledge is based on railroad tycoon.

IBhacknU, i really suggest selling off some of those stocks in a few months, and then buying some when it goes down.

it will go down. watch.

then it will go back up. watch.

and down, and up.

and as your watching approaches infinite, the stock will go sideways 😛

Well, the stock belongs to my Dad. I just grabbed the info off his online portfolio.

If it were mine, I'd be inclined to sell, and then buy back after a drop. But, it's not mine. For my Dad, he's LTBH (Long Term Buy and Hold).

He showed me what he paid for some of his IBM and Disney stock years ago. OMG!
